On September 14, brothers Philippe and Herve Lomprez–the acknowledged and most respected French (Lille) post punk act Trisomie 21–released their new single, Alice. T 21 started their course back in the early eighties and though some people think of their music to be gothic, industrial, electro-pop, ambient, ’80s, or like New Order or Joy Division, their music cannot really fit into just one category. Consisting of lush soundscapes, their sound fuels the imagination into dreaming movie-like images and scenes. You’ve danced to this historic song from 1986’s Chapter IV, haven’t you?
Now, T 21 announced the Elegance Never Dies LP, estimated to drop October 1, their first release after Black Label 2009. The first single, Alice, is typical to their talent and style but this time the band is offering a new fat sound mid (gothic) tempo approach in their post punk music. Listen…!!!
