today america, we see who we really are. we look in the mirror and see our two black swollen eyes, the mark of the abused. we examine our swollen hands, the mark of the abuser. we look around to see the reactions of our friends and family and we see things how they really are. today is our reality. our truth. today we realize every other day has been a lie.
